to create a rough drawing of your space, which
will be very useful in the design process. So take
some measurements and develop a basic sketch
of your room on the Room Planning Sheet, and
you're on your way! Here are a few suggestions:

~ Always use a pencil
~ Measure in inches only
~ Note all fixtures, utilities and electrical
outlets/switches (with dimensions)
~ Include location and size of windows,
doors and any existing appliances
~ Indicate which way doors swing and into
what rooms
~ Measure ceiling height

space before cabinetry and other room elements
are purchased.
